Aims:
To test the possible inhibitory effect of some nutraceuticals on gelatinases expressed by the cells of the vascular wall – endothelial, macrophages and smooth muscle cells – both in vitro and in vivo, aiming to the stabilization of the atherosclerotic plaque.
