Mission:

· To uncover the pathobiochemical alterations occurring in the heart and blood vessels that lead to atherosclerosis, diabetes, ageing, metabolic syndrome;

· To translate the knowledge from "bench to bedside" for patients benefit: prevention, early diagnosis, better therapeutic control, and ultimately cure of diseases.
